The Canary Islands are one of the favorite destinations for thousands of European and national tourists, who travel here attracted by the pleasant temperatures, the natural beauty of its landscapes, the friendliness of the islanders and our tasty cuisine. But the truth is that the Canary Islands offer many arguments to convince more and more people that living in the Canary Islands is a true luxury. The Canarian archipelago consists of eight islands with their own personality, which are divided into two provinces. On the one hand, Las Palmas that has Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Graciosa. And on the other, Santa Cruz de Terife, with the four remaining islands: Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro. Each of them seduces you with its individual characteristics, but in general they all offer advantages that are a luxury for those of us who live here.

If we compare the Canary Islands with other luxury destinations such as the Balearic Islands or European cities, the real estate market presents interesting opportunities for both buying and renting. In the Canary Islands, the land is not excessively expensive, which makes it possible to find authentic mansions, villas, mansions, villas and luxury homes at very competitive prices both for investment and to enjoy them. In addition, these properties are usually found in unique enclaves, with wonderful views, surrounded by nature, in areas with great security, are built with top quality materials and have all kinds of amenities. The Atlantic Ocean is present in our personality, culture and, of course, in our geography. One of the main attractions of the islands are its beaches although according to the islands they vary in quantity and quality, counting with beaches of white sand, black sand and toast. The beaches of the Canary Islands are so varied that they offer options for all tastes: from virgin and remote coves for those who seek to relax to beaches perfectly equipped and safe for the whole family. In the islands, you can also watch cetaceans in freedom, diving in amazing seabed, sailing, deep sea fishing or water sports such as surfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding or kite surfing.

The luxury of living immersed in an overflowing nature

Volcanic landscapes, mysterious caves, millenary forests, unique vineyards in the world, immense dunes that move, original natural pools, peaks and trails … The Canary Islands offers us the most varied and spectacular natural spaces. Proof of this are our four National Parks, nothing more and nothing less than six Biosphere Reserves and the three Marine Reserves. If you live in the Canary Islands, you can enjoy such special excursions as, for example, the highest peak in Spain, the Teide (Tenerife); to the Timanfaya Vulcans (Lanzarote), and  (Gran Canaria).

The Canarian archipelago has very clean skies, with little light pollution which makes us a luxury site for astronomical observation, often enjoying starry nights. In this sense, in the Canary Islands there are 2 astronomical observatories of reference as the locate in the Teide Vulcan (Tenerife) and one in Roque de Los Muchachos (La Palma).

Many of the islands have historical, artistic and cultural treasures that deserve to be discovered. As for example the old town of Santa Cruz de La Palma, Barrio de Vegueta (Gran Canaria), the cave paintings of La Cueva Pintada de Gáldar, or knowing  silbo gomero , Real Villa de Teguise (Lanzarote) or admire the artistic work by César Manrique who ingeniously integrated into nature, both in his native island, Lanzarote, as in others.

Here in the Canary Islands we have leisure proposals that adapt to all tastes. We have numerous water parks, zoos, aquariums, theater, opera, music and film festivals, concerts of all musical genres, artistic exhibitions and a large calendar of top-level sporting events.

Despite being located in the middle of the Atlantic, in the Canary Islands we have good infrastructures and we are very well connected. By air, we have eight airports that communicate to the islands among themselves and with the rest of the world. By sea, there are numerous marinas, marinas and commercial ports through which they sail daily to an important network of shipping lines. By land, the islands have a large road network that allows to communicate in a short time the main populations of the same island. In addition, telecommunications and power supply are guaranteed thanks to a submarine wiring of excellent quality.

The mild temperatures, the volcanic earth and the freshness of the Atlantic mark the character of the ingredients and dishes that are the stars of traditional Canarian gastronomy. There are many gastronomic jewels of the Canary Islands that have denomination of origin, such as bananas, old potatoes, malvasia wine or the Flower Cheese from Santa María de Guía. The Canary Islands has an interesting recipe book with fresh fish and seafood as well as vegetable stews. The traditional cuisine is very tasty and very frequent (sancochos, papas arrugadas, escaldón, …) but more and more thanks to the new chefs and restaurants you can enjoy more elaborate and creative dishes.

The luxury of disguising oneself in the most colorful carnivals

No need for presentation: the traditional carnivals of the Canary Islands seduce spectators from all over the world for their great color, the joy of its people and the enviable climate in which they are celebrated. Living your parades and murgas in the first person is, without a doubt, one of the great advantages of living in this place.
