Risco Caído was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO

Earlier this July, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, meeting in the capital of Azerbaijan, has declared the cultural landscape of Risco Caído and the sacred mountains of Gran Canaria a World Heritage Site, “a pre-Hispanic coin temples site and markers of clear astronomical connotations, “as he reminds us this article published in the newspaper EL ESPAÑOL.

With this declaration there are 48 recognized in our country, being the third in the world in number of World Heritage declarations, only after China and Italy.
